I am so pleased to bring you a few words from this very talented scrapper. Her blog girlswarebluetoo is truly inspiring. So please read what she has to say and have a look at her work.

I started Scrapping around two years ago.
For my first mothers day my partner bought me an Album and a handful of family themed embellishments and a wonderful card which said , amongst other things, I thought you could make a 'me and my mum' Scrapbook.
I looked at the album and thought this is not what I know a 'scrapbook' to be. I hopped on line to see if I could find any information and a wonderful world of galleries and Forums opened up to me. I looked long and hard at things I saw on line and the next day I went to my LSS and bought I piece of PP 1 piece of CS and a fiskars template. I used an old newspaper as a cutting mat and created my first page.
I have never looked back.
Scrapping allows me to indulge so many of my creative pursuits in one place, I always have something on my desk, I really feel that it helps to keep me sane.
I am a solitary Scrapper I have never been to a class and don't have any friends locally that I scrap with most of my Scrappy friends I have met online and they are in other states.
I love trying out new products but don't feel that I am fickle when following trends I will only buy or use something if it genuinely appeals to me.
On my pages I like to test the boundaries of colour by often putting together strong or unusual combinations. My two biggest inspiration sources are Children's clothing and nature but I do find that something can jump out at me from anywhere at all.
I use a lot of Maya Road and Heidi Swapp products, in both cases I think that the people behind the name or brand are amazing, which definitely influences my decision to use their products.
People that I find inspiring in the Scrapping world are sometimes not those that would be most obvious. I am not drawn to someone because of their 'name' and sometimes might not even like their scrap style but still find them inspiring though their energy, philosophy or attitude. I am lucky to be able to call some of the people most inspiring my friends and these friendships have been formed through blogging.
I think it's is really important to have fun with it and don't think about or apply 'rules' to what you are doing, accept idiosyncrasies and imperfections in a page as a part of it, Accept the beauty that lies in the imperfection and originality of what you do.

Mitchell Kraft

What can i say about Mitchell? I am simply blown away by him. Yes I did say him.
More than the fact that he is an amazing scrapper is the fact that he's only 18. I know would this amount of talent in an 18 year old girl shock me. I have now idea.
I think it is wonderful to see a teenage scrapping and I for one will be following what he gets up to.

They are getting closer and closer to the date when the first classes go out.
The DC now have their forum up and running and its looking great. You can chat with all the DC and other subscribers. It is so friendly there that you'll soon feel at home. When the classes go live if you have not subscribed you will only be able to get access to certain parts of the forum. If you do subscribe you will be able to pick the brains of some of the UKs top Scrappers.
Sneak peeks will be going up very shortly so why not keep an on the Blog and forum.

I have just found out about this and think its brill. All the Info is on The Design Collective Blog.
The girls that are doing this is just amazing. You will have seen their work before as they are also behind the Speshal Dares.
The concept of this is online classes that you subsripe to for a set fee.
They say "Classes will focus on different design elements and techniques and will cover a whole range of projects from layouts to mini books to gifts and altered items."

This is British talent at its best.

I hadn't until today and I'm already a huge fan of them.

Inchies are just that 1 x 1 inch squares. They can be stamped, inked or anything that comes to mind. Just think of them as little ATCs.

This is a brand new blog that has a new twist to scraplifting.
Scrapjacked has the following Team

It's a fab concept.
This is what they say.

SCRAPJACKED
Pronunciation: 'skrap'jak-edFunction: verb1 : to scrap-lift a kick butt scrapbooker and show them some madd props.2 a : to move or lift by or as if by a jack b : to raise the level of -- usually used with up c : to take to task

So long story short, we lift. We reinvent. We funk it up a bit. We pick a wonderful, talented scraper and take their style hostage for a week and come up with our own take on thier designs. Think of it as lifting with a twist.

Now here is where you come in...we want you to join us too. Every two weeks we will post who will be jacked the coming week. You have a week to do some research and do your own lift of one of thier pages and send us a link to where it is posted and we will post our favs for all the world to see.

We are also interested in see who you think we should jack. Leave us a comment and let us know. You never know...you may be next.

Well now you can with Nickiblog. She shows some of her amazing working and also offers classes that cost around $20 (not sure how much that is in pounds). These look worth the money. I hope you all like her work as much as i do.

Have you ever been stuck for an idea about how to do a LO, just can't think how to place things on the paper? Or do yow have an album that needs to be done quickly and you just don't have the time to plan your page yourself?
Well help is at hand with Page Maps by Becky Fleck
This site is full of sketches aka page maps to suit all scrapbookers, 12 x12 single and double lo and the same for 8.5 x 11.
There are some fab maps on here and i may even use one or two myself.

New maps are added to site on the first of the month so keep an eye out for them on friday.

This was found today and i think it's going to be good fun having a go at.
How much is to much say "We all have too much stuff. Admit it! We all do. Let's use them. Challenges are open to everyone! Have fun and conquer your stash!"

It's true we all have stash just sat there that we haven't used for reason or another. We need to use it so we can have a real reason to buy lots much.
